İÜHF Sinema Kulübü (Istanbul University Law Faculty Cinema Club)

Executive Board Member | 2021 - 2024

As an Executive Board Member of the Istanbul University Law Faculty Cinema Club, I played a key role in organizing film screenings, discussions, and events that explored the intersection of law, society, and cinema.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and coordinating film screenings and discussions
• Managing club budget and resources
• Organizing special events and guest speaker sessions
• Facilitating collaborations with other university clubs and external organizations
• Promoting club activities through various channels

This experience enhanced my organizational, leadership, and communication skills while allowing me to explore the cultural and social dimensions of legal issues through the medium of film.

13th International Crime and Punishment Film Festival

Social Media Management – Volunteer Student | 2023

I had the valuable opportunity to volunteer for the 13th International Crime and Punishment Film Festival, where I was responsible for social media management.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and scheduling content for various social media platforms
• Engaging with festival attendees and followers online
• Providing real-time updates during festival events
• Collaborating with the marketing team to promote festival activities
• Analyzing social media metrics and engagement data

This experience provided me with practical skills in digital communication, event promotion, and audience engagement in a professional setting.

ILSA Istanbul (International Law Students Association)

European Union Committee | 2020 - 2021

As a member of the European Union Committee at ILSA Istanbul, I participated in discussions, research, and events focused on EU law, policies, and Turkey-EU relations.

Activities:

• Researching and presenting on EU legal developments
• Participating in panel discussions and workshops
• Collaborating on policy papers and analyses
• Attending conferences and networking events
• Engaging with EU-related legal issues and current events

This involvement deepened my understanding of European Union law and international legal frameworks while developing my research and analytical skills.

MUN Club (Model United Nations)

I was a founding member of the Model United Nations Club at my high school, helping to establish and develop this important educational initiative.

Contributions:

• Organizing training sessions on diplomacy, international relations, and public speaking
• Preparing for and participating in MUN conferences
• Mentoring new members and developing leadership within the club
